4000 meters. The helicopter can climb to 1000 meters within 2 min.
The
cabin of the Mi-2 is comfortable and ensures good traveling conditions
for an interesting and tireless journey for eight passengers with
hand luggage. Flight range, using two externally mounted auxiliary
fuel tanks of 238 liters each, is 580 km. Using a number of standard
equipment kits, the basic helicopter can be quickly converted to
any of its roles and versions -- for agriculture, search & rescue,
or transport service.

The
Mi-2 helicopter has found an extensive application in agricultural
services, for cultivation, fertilization and plant protection measures
necessary to modern agricultural methods. With the special optional
equipment installed, the helicopter is well suited for aerial applications
(dusting as well as spraying) of various chemical agents, giving
